problem:
Plethora of long-handled yard tools urgently needing an organized storage system in my new shop.
solution:
The thrift store I worked in had a regular flow of futon bed/couches that frequently went unsold even at ridiculously low prices. I would put them back out at ‘raw material prices’ and politely wait a few days before buying them for The Fixer’s inventory. This grid was custom-fitted into an unused corner with upper and lower parallel-bar-frames intersecting to separate long-handled tools.
It is stuffed now (I may add that picture later), but each and every one of them are easily accessible, rather than being in the middle of a pile of jackstraws.
