problem:
I was fed up with flimsy coat racks falling apart when asked to hold heavy winter coats.
solution:
I built one on a steel base, using steel pipe with steel balls to gently hold the heaviest of coats. I tossed in drying pillars for a pair of boots.
Artistically, I was evoking an abstract fruit tree image with mushrooms growing at the base to dry winter boots.
Engineering wise, I was my pretty normal self with ‘strong enough to run a truck over it’ engineering.
