problems:
#1: 18″ auger bit for my post hole drill proved too much for the shaft.
#2: Teeth were spinning and breaking off.
solution:
#1: Weld it up as good as new. Add a collar to double the strength in the working area.
#2: Add plate to mounting area and matching lip to every tooth.
Never had a stitch of trouble with it after that.
